    I'm new to this forum but getting lots of good tips, but can I just ask how the DTD refund works please as I don't understand. (What Starskit wrote).

    Do you mean that they give you double the refund if they make a mistake? Is this in all the T stores?

    Also, what is a JTD?

    Thanks for any help.

    Barbie doll on shelf priced at £10
    Priced paid at till £20
    Overcharge = £10
    Double The Difference = £20
    Barbie doll = Free :)

    Yep, for double the difference just check your receipt after paying, and if you've been overcharged, go to customer service and they refund you double the amount you've been overcharged by.

    For just the difference, you need to go to Tesco's online price checker, input your receipt details, and if the total of all your shopping that they can compare like for like would have been cheaper in Asda, they send you a voucher for just the difference, which you print off and take to Tesco along with your original receipt.

    JTD would be handy........if my local was included. But it seems that it isn't. Which confuses me tbh.

    If its a Tesco & they overcharge you, you are entitled to Double The Difference

    Just got back from Tesco, and I bought a Dove Intensive Repair shampoo (£2.32, 250ml) and a Dove Intensive Repair conditioner (£2.44 200 ml). They should be on buy one get one free, but the discount didn't come off, so I got DTD refunded on the price of the conditioner, so was actually paid 12p to take them away!

    Not sure if it's store specific but it just worked at Sheffield Infirmary Road, which is a regular store (not express or extra).

    If you want to be really cheeky, it's only £1.19 at Asda so could try for a JTD voucher too!

    Bought these today at my small local Mr T and had the same thing, but she wouldn't do dtd, only jtd, as she said it was a gesture of good will! Said they were different sizes and therefore not applicable to the deal:o

    I bought 2 of the shampoo at an Extra and BOGOF worked, so no overcharge or DTD - looking at the SEL I think its not a mix and match and DTD would be at store's discretion

    Timotei SELs all removed
