Tesco misprices and discussion (Thread 12)

Just bought 6 bottles of timotei golden highlights conditioner and 6 bottles of timotei golden highlights shampoo (this is what my husband and I always use so thought I would stock up), supposedly on buy 1 get 2 free offer. Till only took 7.72 off, but this should have been (8 x 1.97) £15.76. Therefore had been 'shortchanged' by £8.04 so went to CS and got £16.08 DTD back :j Overall, I spent £15.92, got £16.08 back so in effect was paid 16p to take 12 bottles away:)

Got a good DTD result today on the Staedler fine tip markers 10 pack. Sel stated a white SEL of £1 but I was actually charged £5.50 Got 4 packs so happy days

Also picked up some Helix maths sets tins, which include a compass, protractor and rulers, these were marked up at 50p but went through at £4.00 Grabbed four of these as well.

Just got back from Tesco, and I bought a Dove Intensive Repair shampoo (£2.32, 250ml) and a Dove Intensive Repair conditioner (£2.44 200 ml). They should be on buy one get one free, but the discount didn't come off, so I got DTD refunded on the price of the conditioner, so was actually paid 12p to take them away!

Not sure if it's store specific but it just worked at Sheffield Infirmary Road, which is a regular store (not express or extra).

If you want to be really cheeky, it's only £1.19 at Asda so could try for a JTD voucher too!

I'm new to this forum but getting lots of good tips, but can I just ask how the DTD refund works please as I don't understand. (What Starskit wrote).

Do you mean that they give you double the refund if they make a mistake? Is this in all the T stores?

Also, what is a JTD?

Yes, They will give you double the 'mistake' . JTD + just the difference. HTH = Hope this helps
