I have a buyer who wants to buy a games console but he is asking if I would send it to Jersey?
It's worth about 30 quid, does it cost more?

Depends on the weight?
You can send 1st and 2nd class packets/letters but not standard parcels.
Parcels become International Parcels going to the channel Isles. Check out RM site

Just thought they have SD not sure if what the max weight would be, its 10kg here!

If you are using Royal mail standard post it will be the same cost, but couriers may well charge considerably more.
For some reason the last item I sent to Jersey had to have a customs label on it, even though it was the UK.

The Channel Islands, which include the independent States of Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark, are the only remaining components of the "Duchy of Normandy" which still belong to the British Crown.
This is fascinating stuff isn't it..so it is owned by the UK but is not the UK.

Or here:

However, Jersey is not part of the UK, nor the European Union, but is rather a separate possession of the Crown, comparable to the Isle of Man. Jersey belongs to the Common Travel Area.
I learnt more today than I did in my geography lessons at school, never let anyone say that MSE isn't educational!

Several islands are owned by UK, but are not part of UK.....;)A British Overseas Territory is one of 14 territories which are under the sovereignty of the United Kingdom, but not considered part of the United Kingdom itself.
