I second Meepster on the Quooker. 35 sold in 2.5 years including one at home and one in the showroom. Not one fault. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Can they be retrofitted into an existing solid worktop? Only you never know if the scratchcards will pay off, then I can get one0

Yup, just needs a hole drilling in the worktop, not a problem at allIf it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Although I have never had one or seen one they are totally rubbish. Just get a kettle.
Hope that helps!
P.S. anyone know if it is really bad to have the kettle under the kitchen cupboards we don't really have anywhere else for ours :-(0 -

I'm not sure where I got the idea from, but it's in my head that it's not a good idea due to steam maybe damaging the cupboards? I know the edging is splitting a bit on the end panels either side of the cooker hood, so I reckon that's from the steam. Just trying to avoid it if I can place the kettle elsewhere, but the best place is below the cupboards....0 -
