Hey Bob.

The people are our children and the other halves ages 23 - 30, so coke etc will be fine if mixed with local poison! They will need a bit of nightlife but we old fogeys are not too fussed!

Still not found anything , thought I had it sorted then the rooms were not available! The system was not 'live'.
Would have been AI at Balaia Mar Portugal, flights from Leeds Bradford, transfers and baggage came out at £2300! Perfect! But alas its not to be.
Is it safe to book the individual bits myself? I don't want us to get stranded anywhere, time is running out and am getting very despondant.
Flights from Leeds Bradford to Faro on 3/10/11 are perfect at 16.45, who is good and reliable for hotel rooms and transfers? Will need special insurance for OH but can use anyone for the rest of us.
So wanted to make the most of this.
Any ideas please!?

have you been on thompson? they have a link for late deals, i just put in 3rd to 10th oct all inc and departing north west then clicked on prices so they went from lowest to highest and loads came up. also try thomas cook etc and a few came up. good luck xx

I would book individually without a doubt, i have a large family (7) and the only way we can travel is by doing this way. you can build your own thomsons holiday by just booking the flights seperate to th hotel if you like the idea of a big tour oprator.
personally ive flown easyjet ,ryan air and thomsons recently and no difference in flights, all got there in time, no dlays etc. x

Thomas cook shops have an extra 10% off their shop prices for september and october departures, there are some real bargains about at the moment for the next few weeks, try them.

Have you checked out the cost of travel insurance including your OH's pre-existing condition? This needs to be deducted from your budget.

Yes I have, it was sorted before I even started looking as I knew the choice of locations would be very limited! Also got a 'fit to travel letter' from his Doc, I have given him his own budget for insurance !!

a brief look on travelr public brings up the hotel Balaia Atlantico Hotel for 2616.66.
i did not know child ages so put in two at 15 sharing with two adults and two adults in a seperate room, it includes bags each going on the flight you want and transfers too, its more costly than you want but if you give me more details i could check out room options etc

Have a look at Olympic holidays - they have some cracking deals at the moment.

This one was the first one I came across - search for all your destinations and you might find a better deal.
