Need some help please to find a weeks break for 6 people.
The dates have to fit in between OH hospital appointments - 3rd to 10th October.
Can only get him insured for Spain, Bealarics, Portugal, Malta,Italy, Cyprus, France.
We live in N Yorks so Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Doncaster or Manchester.
Would love to go a hotel, pref not S/C as we could all do with a bit of relaxation. Its been a hard couple of years!
Low budget £2500 for all. Is it do-able?
Regards
ML

MandyLou66, please double check the prices that anybody may private message to you before booking.
If they are offering a true package holiday then don't forget there is the MSE haggle guide http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/cheap-holiday-haggling-guide#haggle
and if they aren't double check hotel prices https://www.hotelscombined.com can be good, don't forget cash back through https://www.quidco.com and https://www.topcashback.comPosts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -

Hello Richard and Bargain! Thanks for helping.
I have only just started looking for deals and am totally bamboozled by it all! Didn't think we would be going anywhere this year but thankfully we can, have had a mad dash to renew passports (done!) get EH11 cards (done!) and find an insurer (done!).
Thought it would just be a case of popping 'late deals' into google and my holiday would be there! Still hoping for a gem from Travelzoo!
Portugal is looking favourite at the moment as there is a flight from Leeds at 16.45 on the 3rd. That would suit us fine. There are some all inc hols reasonably priced there I think! Will probably need to do a package as I do not feel confident enough to put my own together.
Flights to Malta only on Sun and Thurs so can't do that. Cyprus seems expensive. Spain and Baelarics not fully reserched yet! It seems a long process with so many different companies to look at.
My daughter is coming to help me look 2morro so am open to all suggestions and any help is very gratefully recieved.

But you only wanted a week, you'd be amazed what that much can buy in the way of holidays, even for 6 people. You've not been in Yorkshire long enough

I don't believe you are allowed to tout for business in this way so I have reported you.

You say 6 people but are any of the 'people' children or are they all normal real people. Also an age range? youngish, middle ageish or real rockers?
Do they want Orangeade, Ovaltine or Coke!! ?0 -
Hello MandyLou -
I'm glad your call for help is being attended to by so many with good up-to-speed advice, but I just spotted this:
get EH11 cards (done!) -
Martin wrote about obtaining the new EHIC cards which are replacing the EH11. I did this easily online in July, before I went to France, backed it with a phone call, when I couldn't get my NZ nationality to register - and received 2 cards efficiently within the week! Quickly put one in UK wallet, the other in French wallet - both are kept ready to roll.
I'll post the link to Martin's article in a mo.
