Yes, get_iplayer will do the job too:- http://pastebin.com/LmhMP32X

The downloaded file is in mp4 format.
It will play OK with VLC etc.

The key was finding the automatic installer for get_iPlayer, which I hadn't found before. Episode 1 now downloaded.
