Sqeeks (yes, that is how it is spelled - blame the child pestering me as I filled out the chip info) - spot the cunning disguise (nearly as good as the Ninja cat hidden under the others in an earlier post)

    Back to the present day:

    Photo49.jpg

This time last year, he was hyperventilating at the thought of being outside the front door of the old flat in the stairwell. Look how at home he is now in the big, scary outside world - and he has a bunch of neighbours across the road that know him well - and a bloke in the blacksmith's over their back who he visits for bacon sandwiches, judging by the filth he tracks back in some mornings. :)

    And Gary the Snail

    Photo61.jpg

Is THAT what I think it is sticking out of Gary's shell?

(no, I know - thanks to Google - that it's a breathing tube, thankfully)

I couldn't get a good picture of Morris and the Munchers - Morris and Tiger the Grey (blue?) Oranda, plus 4 cloud minnows, 2 Leopard Danio and 2 Striped Danio. They move too quick when I'm near the tank as they think it's always worth seeing if there's some food coming. Sociable little things, really. Always trying to get my attention when I'm in the kitchen with the light on.

My sweetheart of a cat Button.

I also have a video of him doing his odd little 'water dance' here and wondered if anyone else's cats did the same?

  • One of mine does that sometimes, it reminds me of how she does the litter tray - perhaps it's something to do with liquid around them, like people rush for the loo with the sound of running water?

I have read that Maine Coons play with water and when I got mine Jack did exactly that. It was so cute but unfortunately he stopped when he got older. I think it was some thing to do with the original cats living in cold climates in US or Norway and they test to see if the is ice on the water. Not sure I believe that but there are plenty of Maine Coons clips on Ytube. Lovely cat by the way could be cross Maine Coone.

  • sorry about the snail, ashes... my son started pre school back in january and they have a GALS and he was fascinated, so we got him one...

Curious George - love the fact you have Jay and Silent Bob:rotfl:Mallrats, Clerks and Dogma were some of my favourite films. Not watched them for years though!

we love a bit of Kevin Smith! :D
  • One more of Tilly, doing her VERY FAVOURITE THING IN THE WORLD; licking spiders webs.

Soon as I open the back door of a morning she's straight out to find any that have been spun overnight, even before she goes for a wee. They don't get a chance to form in the house mind you because she eats the spiders as soon as she sees them. :rotfl:
