Can I still claim 2nd & 3rd cash back if I didn't claim 1st?

Okay, I messed up with my cash/cheque back with the 18 month 3/Link Store contract I signed up back in June 06. Its been a hectic few months and I've been very disorganised following a house move. Anyway, I only fished out the paper work this weekend and too my frustration realised I'd missed the deadline. To claim the three seperate payments I needed to send in the 1st and 6th airtime bill at 6mths, then at 9 months the 7th and 9th, and finally at 12 mths, the 10th & 12th airtime bill.

Reading the cashback/cheque back small print now and looking at the bills I've realised that I should have sent 1st (June) and 6th (Nov), so I'm way beyond the "no later than 30 days" clause. Given I didn't claim the 6th months one, does that invalidate me from claiming the others at 9 and 12 months? Also, can I just clarify that 1st 'airtime' bill, is the same as the first bill?

I cannot recall seeing in The Link rules that you cannot claim subsequent claims if you miss one but check the form (some retailers do have this term as one of their stumbling blocks). My understanding with The Link/3 contract (as I am on a 12 month) is that the first airtime bill was the first bill (as you pay in advance) - this seems to be correct as I sent 1 and 6 back in June and received payment.

If in doubt, ask them (the number is on the form, but be prepared to wait for them to answer as it took me many calls to get through).

    Good luck

it wont make a difference if you have missed the 1st part BUT make sure you work out the correct times to when you should claim your other money back :)

Well its good to know that I can still claim the rest, I just wasn't sure cos we all know how they love to do their best for you not to claim. Anyway, I'm back to my organised myself and I now have all the bills together, along with the claim form and put the reminders on my phone and on Outlook so I'm all set. Thanks!
