I have I few old sim cards that I am going to throw away, including the easy mobile ones.
What I was wondering is what is the best way of damaging the cards, to remove any info on them, before putting them in the bin.
Thanks.

Soaking them in water for an hour or so would do the trick

I would light a match and put it on the metal contact. should do the job when it melts.

I would cut them in too as many pieces as you can and then pop them in seperate bins. That will do the trick

Or if yah like you can bend it in half pull out the contact then rip the little thing glued on then incinerate it.

    Thanks.

I'd have thought attaching wires to them and plugging into the mains electricity would do the trick. You should check out any health and safety implications first with your electricity supplier, the Fire Brigade and your local Council

I'd have thought sarcasm was hardly necessary
