Realistically, your employer - depending on their attitude to bankrupts - may view your money troubles as making you more likely to steal.
seriously? why would that be?bsc 347:j0 -

I do think it's a possibility.
You and I know bankruptcy effectively marks an end to Fleur's debt worries, so if she was going to pinch anything, she'd have done it months ago.
But some people do not have our understanding of the meaning of bankruptcy - that stupid CAB advisor is one example.0 -
thing i cant understand is why someone would think br has anything to do with thieving ?bsc 347:j0

It's not far from that point to think the person might be inclined to steal some.
not saying you think she is mind youbsc 347:j0 -
Sorry you had such a terrible experience Fleur, I know you prob don't want to go through it all again but I think a bit of constructive to feedback to the CAB might be in order, not only did the person clearly not know what they were talking about but they were quite offensive seeing that the CAB see lots of vulnerable people it's not really right they should make you feel like that. Did you get on any better with the other debt charities? By the way what is wrong with working 'only' 35 hours? I thought that the standard full time working week was 35-40 hours?
Hope you are feeling better and get the advice that you need (I am sure you will on here). At least on here it is real people with real experiences which I think teach you more than any bog standard advice you get dished out.0 -
