    That's fine, you have adobe installed using the latest stable version

    For the runtime error, is there a number with it?

    Someone said hotmail was OK with Avira for example but not when they changed to running Microsoft Security Essentials
  • Server Error in '/' Application.

    Runtime Error

    [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, Geneva, SunSans-Regular, sans-serif] Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

    Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

    <!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

    <configuration>
    <system.web>
    <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
    </configuration>
    Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

    <!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

    <configuration>
    <system.web>
    <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
    </system.web>
    </configuration>

    this is what i get but not everytime i log out.

    Reasonably common but luck of the draw, and can be due to them doing things with their servers

    They should help with it here

    These are safe to run

    For some software updates

    http://filehippo.com/updatechecker/

    This is more for security programme updates

    Feature Overview:
    • Detects insecure versions of common/popular programs installed on your PC
    • Verifies that all Microsoft patches are applied
    • Assists you in updating, patching, and protecting your PC
    • Activates additional security features in Sun Java
    • Runs through your browser. No installation or download is required

    Or, you can download it and install it, then it pops up if anything is updated or needs updating

    You can get two options, usually, run or save,
    This is typical Of Microsoft's instructions, which simply aren't written for beginners. I'm sure most newbies don't presume that clicking 'run' will also save the file.
