Adobe flash plugin crashed

i was trying to play a game on facebook and the game crashed and it came up with this error, i've noticed a few things not working 'smoothly' on my laptop when i'm on you tube and playing games.

Where do i update adobe? and do i have to watch out for anything, avoid any ones? my firefox updated recently and it said my adobe needed updated but i was wary of clicking on the link it gave me, are these links safe to click on?

This is a safe link to the latest stable version of flash player for non IE browsers

If you get a problem with it, either revert to the previous stable version, or try the release candidates, in that order

You could also see how IE gets on with youtube etc, as it will likely have different plug ins or add ons which could be causing the crash as well, though get the IE stable version here

You can get the updates from adobe but they sometimes want to install it with a download manager etc

i downloaded a version, rebooted my laptop but it doesn't seem to be downloading even though it says its complete??

Any ideas?

The download didn't work first time when I came to do it last week via firefox

Check for possible firewall blocks and give it another go. I eventually got it to work by opening downloads within firefox (click on oarnage firefox tab top left) and giving it another go. I think a popup warning may have appeared which I ok'd

i close firefox and the adobe downloads but it doesn't seem to download??

Are you saving the download to a folder then running the installer from there?

You can get two options, usually, run or save, choose save and note where it is saving to, then close the browser and run the installer from the saved file

i don't think i'm getting that options, mine saves to downloads then i click on it when it has finished downloading, i then get the 'conflicting message' about mozilla so i close my mozilla pages then it says installation complete.

hope i'm not confusing you
