Tesco Family SIM

I called into my local Tescomobile store and picked up a copy of the latest offer of Tesco Family SIM. This states that if you sign up for 2 or more SIM's you can enjoy free data or minutes (it doesnt stipulate any terms and conditions i.e. when the offer is valid from etc). I currently have 2 x SIM's on the 30 day rolling contracts from last year (500 mins, unlimited texts plus 500mb data per month for £10.00 each) and thought I would ask if this offer applied to my existing contract. The leaflet says to ask a member of staff for details. I did and was told that I would need to call customer care for further details and a copy of the T & C's. I have spoken to customer care who said I couldnt have the free minutes on an existing contract but to speak to sales who would provide a copy of the T & C.

I have since spoken to the sales team who refused to provide a copy of the T & C's until I sign for a new contract when a copy will be sent out.

Has anyone had a look at the Family SIM offer in conjunction with an existing contract? If so have you had any luck? Also this seems like unfair sales tactics.

I'd report that to Ofcom & Consumer Direct, it is a legal requirement to provide T&C prior to anyone signing such.

Yeah my thoughts - I have told them this but you know what tele sales are like - simply go off script!
