You are so sweet Jake, apart that is from being a right little character, the perfect combination.
I hope you realise how much your mum researched your problem and what she's done for you? No of course you don't.
I didn't fully understand what my mum and dad did for me either, until I was grown up and they had died. We tend to take all this care for granted, but then I'm just a human, not an intelligent dog like you.
Jake, I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy new year. Enjoy your Christmas dinner, .. and eat up those sprouts, nom nom.

Merry Christmas Jack.
Lots of love from one of your many fans x0 -
Jane here...
Thanks all! Couldn't believe what I was seeing when those results came back this morning. He's about 50 points from a normal ALT, but to be honest for a pup that was in the thousands I can live with that. I'm so unbelievably happy, we never dared hope we would get this far. There was a time when we didn't think we'd see his birthday (way back in September) so to hope for Christmas just seemed impossible.
I dropped a card and donation in to the PDSA this morning to his old vet, just to say thanks again and how well he's doing. Hopefully she will be as happy as we are. We knew Jack had some fight, but he just keeps pushing boundaries every day.
Anyway, LOTS of treats for Christmas, including some that he probably shouldnt have but what the heck its one day!
Merry Christmas all, furbabies and all!

Hi Jack, I'm Milo my mummy's been in contact with your mum as i've been really poorly the last couple of weeks, I was in the vet hospital all last week with this needle thing in my leg and this lampshade on my head - i kept trying to get it off and bit my top lip in the process OUCH! I really didnt like it there and missed my mummy but as I started to feel better they let me come home on Friday and OMG i was so excited to see my buddys Dolly n Tia again that i got a little bit sick but was ok after that. Mummy has to give me horrible tablets and i keep hiding them in my mouth then spitting them out!! I had to go back and see my vet yesterday but as i felt better i told him i'm not a soft touch anymore HA! He's given mummy some yukky disgusting food to feed me (Royal Canin Heptatic) and i dont like it and keep spitting it out so mummy's gonna ask your mummy about the food she gives you cos she thinks i'll like that more (plus the yukky food the vet gave mummy will cost £178/month and mummy is worried how she's gonna find that money). Mummy bought me a coat today, it was very nice but I think mummy thought I was a horse cos its so so big on me I look silly so mummys gonna take it back and order me a nice cosy jumper. Anyway Jack good talking to you - gonna go to bed now - its so cosy being back on mummys bed (and i nick all the duvet :-)). Take Care, Milo xA home is not a home ..... without a dog0

Hey milo! Mum was going to email your mum tomorrow to see how you were. Glad your home
I'm eating that royal canin hepatic stuff at the minute as I'm in an awkward phase. Mum thinks it's probably because I'm struggling to eat wet food and find the biscuits a bit easier. When i eat wet food lately it goes everywhere and takes me ages to eat it, i get it stuck to the roof of my mouth too its all very strange my vet says im a strange dog though It is very expensive isn't it? I hated the wet version of it YUK! Mum bought about £40 worth of it and ended p giving it all to the pdsa lol
My mum buys me tesco value chicken roll to hide my tablets in it. It stinks! Dad says it smells like farts but for some unknown reason I love it and wolf it down with my pills so it's all good.
I'm having a bath tomorrow because I'm sweating a lot with my infection and I STINK!!! Not looking forward to that but she's promised me some sofa cuddles and a nice christmassy movie after so I'll let her do it I suppose.
Glad to have you back milo! Us liver hounds need to stick together and show em who's boss!
Love and licks
Jack
Xx
