Bhs bridesmaid dresses

Hi ladies,

I had a look for bridesmaid dresses on Saturday (in bridal shops) just to try and get an ideal of styles. I have really shocked myself in terms of price though - they seemed to range anything from £200 - £300 :eek: I have 4 dresses and all the other bits and bobs to buy. So can't justify spending that sort of money on just dresses.

So has anyone had BHS bridesmaid dresses? How are they for quality? they are not that cheap either s are about £120 per dress for long.

I am looking for green long dresses by the way. :rotfl:

Debenhams are good for bridesmaid dresses-last year mine were £100 each-they wash well too.
BHS I've had a dress from BHS and the quality was rubbish-I ended up taking it back-it was much cheaper than £200 though-only a quarter of that.

Do debenhams do a bridesmaid range or did you just get nice dresses. My local one doesn't seem to do a bridal range.

They had some lovely dresses- I think it was in Occasionwear. I've just looked on the debenhams website and cannot see any green dresses -but there are some turquoise ones. Yep debenhams do,if you click on store finder on there website it will tell you what stores are local to you and also if they stock wedding stuff,my local BHS dont stock wedding stuff but one about 20mile away does

If I were you I'd stop looking for "bridesmaids dresses" and start looking at evening wear! It'll be much cheaper.

BHS Bridesmaid dresses are good value (especially if you catch them on an offer weekend)

My friend got her bridesmaid dresses from the occasionwear/prom dress section in Debenhams - it was much easier for her to get her bridesmaid who was living in a different city to pop into her local Debenhams and try on the styles/colours she liked.
