Try Superdrug. Haven't looked at their website, but I was in the 3 shop in Watford yesterday, who told me to try Superdrug. Phone is a ZTE F866 (who ZTE??) at a basic price of £24-99. However, if you spend £5 in store the price comes down to £19-99 including £10 airtime (PAYG, of course). The phone is a 3G clamshell type with a VGA camera built in, but no Bluetooth or IR. Google for reviews for more ino. (Seems ZTE are a no-name Chinese manufacturer.)
For a fairly basic camera-phone this seems like a very good price.0 -

I thought 3 glue in the PAYG sims into this phone model....
Might find it difficult to remove and use your contract sim in it (as OP is wanting to do)0
