No you can't claim anything else.
I fail to see why it is unfair you can't get anything? Both your daughter and the son in Uni are ADULTS. Time for them to start to pay their way.0 -

I'm astounded that out of 3 over-16 year old children not one of them has a part time job. When was the last time they all trawled every local shop, petrol station, hair salon, garden centre and asked if they need part time staff? Are there any particular industries that would fit in with the subject they are studying and they could get valuable work experience while studying? Places are already starting to hire Christmas staff now. At one point last year my 16 year old niece had to work two part-time weekend jobs for a month because they couldn't find anyone to take over her position at the job she was trying to leave! A massive part of a child/young adult's "life" education is getting a part time job and starting to contribute to their living expenses. In our town, every 5th or 6th shop has a card in the window looking for part time staff - it's rubbish that there are no part time jobs.DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244
