I am posting this as I am just bursting with relief! Di3004 and Amersall both have been towers of support with my claim which has been going on for four years and I wanted to give you the latest... Last week I had a letter from Lloyds saying they upheld my claim and were going to div up. £6630.37. They said they were going to send me cheque 'shortly' and when I rang this morning and spoke to a lovely guy called Tom to ask if I could have it put straight into my account nothing was too much trouble - I should bloudy well think so after all this time!!.
No doubt I shall get a bill from the CC but they can wait. I had to wait with their ineptness and total cavalier attitude for four years so
to them!! Anyway, the upshot for all you guys waiting and endlessly waiting sometimes these things do work out. The offer is £5K more than I thought so at least I can get my car fixed now. I am just so relieved that its all nearly over.
I going to have carved on my tombstone I KNEW I WAS RIGHT!!!
Good luck to you all and most of all thanks to Di3004 and Amersall - I dont know who you are but you kept me going so thank you for all that...

Di3004 - this is the first time I have ever liked all those blobby things jumping up and down - normally they do 'my head in' but today I am just so chuffed. Once the £ is in my bank I shall allow myself a glass of chilled white wine and a bag of crisps to celebrate! I am a confirmed MSE now and I shall watch this lot very carefully and never again will I sign anything or do anything that will come back and bite me on the bum - especially relating to banks. Infact I wish I could go back to the days of the tin under the mattress. Much safer!
Di, you help so many people and I do hope you get your current claims sorted - I have been reading your posts very carefully and my fingers are so crossed!!
Thank you once again. Mind you Di, I havent got the money yet have I! But its still a huge relief to have got this far after so long...

:T:T:T:T Well done:T:T:T:T Did they get the calculations wrong the first time that you are getting another £5k0 -
Make sure you check what they pay, my calculations have come to a variation of figures so far:
Original: 6500 (Calculated by RISK and Compliance team)
Calc #2: 8500 (Calculated by calcs team due to typo and them missing one account)
Calc #3: 13000 (Calculated by calcs team due to them missing out the loan adjustment as ppi cancelled incorrectly)
Calc #4: 6000 (Calculated by calcs team saying the loan adjustment was already refunded to loan and yet again forgetting other accounts)
Calc #5: 9500 (this is what they have said they paid me on friday, just waiting for it to clear)
Lets see what I actually get tomorrow/wednesday.

I havent been paid anything previously at all so this is just brilliant. I am accepting the offer as it stands. Due to me moving house a couple of times lots of statements and stuff went AWOL so I do not know exactly how much PPI I paid but I calculated around £1K ish. Their calculations are based on interest over the four years and then added on 'other' payments. Result AT LONG LAST. I am pleased but not without the stress, utter frustration at the lack of communication, end result and the fact that they were implying that I was wrong and they were right. How WRONG they were...
Cant wait for my wine and a bag of crisps to celebrate!!0 -
