  • No sentimental value, just like the name Grace... It is only for the middle name though and wouldn't used on a day to day basis.
:D I love comping! Just waiting for the call from ITV! :D

All 3 are lovely. There are many variant spellings of Isobel, Isabel, Isabelle. You may resign yourself to a lifetime of mis-spelling.

LOL... I obviously voted for Isobel as that is our DD's name. I didn't even realise how many ways people spell it until we named her.

Grace was also on our list :)
  • I have gone for Amelia Grace as I think it flows nicely but love Isobel and Amelia as those are the names of our 2 little girls
  • Amelia Grace gets my vote~very pretty.Good luck! x

I couldnt vote for Isobel as it reminded me of a woman of that name who was so mannish she had a mustache! Amelia is so pretty - and there are two Jessicas in my GDs class!

I love Isobel, but I don't like Grace at all.

I like Isobel, OH wanted it for my DD but it's my ex MIL's name, I also like Amelia but prefer Emelia, Jessica and Grace not so much but I guess Grace does as a middle name as it's only one syllable.

Isobel is a nice name, but that's probably my least favourite spelling. And I agree with Spendless that having a name that is constantly mis-spelled is a nightmare. You wouldn't believe how many people can get Jane wrong, from simply adding a "y" to the various other spellings I've had over the years. I unwittingly saddled DD with a name that everyone seems to have had great fun attempting to spell over the last 8 years. It's a pretty common name, but honestly, of her birthday and Christmas cards I'd say at least 60/70% are wrong. I may be a bit anal about it, but I always make a concerted effort to make sure I spell names correctly.

Amelia I'm not too keen on, it makes me think of naughty, brattish, little girls - and before I get flamed, I know I can't tar all Amelia's with the same brush, but that's just what I get when I think of the name Amelia. Sorry. :o

Jessica would be my favourite of the three. Shortened to Jess, never Jessie!! :D

And it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end

Isobel Grace is my favourite. Jessica will just be shortened and Amelia Grace just makes me think amazing grace.

  • I think they all sound nice. I voted for Amelia Grace because it flows better than the others to my ear.
