Baby Names

As I am due in 3 weeks, we have been discussing baby names and have come up with a shortlist for girls so far, and am just wondering what everyone's opinion is of them?
I will post a separate poll for boys names when we decide on the top 3!
Your input would be very helpful! :beer:

I voted for Jessica as it's a name I like but hadn't thought of myself (plus Isabella Grace is my No1 choice
)

All 3 are lovely. There are many variant spellings of Isobel, Isabel, Isabelle. You may resign yourself to a lifetime of mis-spelling. I say this as the mum of a son who is known by his shortened 3 letter name that close relatives can't get right and he's 11!!!
You may also want to look where all 3 names are currently on the popularity charts for this year, to see if child is likely to be sat in a class full of same name (alternatively that may not bother you).0 -
i LOVE Amelia! I think you'll find quite a few gitls named that within a few years, after the Amy Pond woman from Dr Who though.0

I voted for Amelia, although I love Isobel too. A friend of mine has an 18-month old called Isabel Grace:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0

There seems to be so many Jessicas atm, and so many variations of Amelia - Amy, Amelie, etc - and I love Isobel no matter how it's spelled

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those names, but I voted for Isobel as it's so pretty.0

Isobel Grace for me, both names were in my top 10 when naming DD.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

If it wasn't for my friend having called her little girl Isabel, it'd be top of my list for the little one I'm cooking right now, not that I know if it's a boy or girl that is...:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0

Isobel stands out for me, not a fan of the added "Grace" though, is their any sentimental value etc but it does seem quite a common addition now bit like the 90's adding Jane to first names.0
