Roller blind for bathroom ordered...and there's an offer on verticals, two of which I need replacing so *gulp* ordered them, too...

apart from the carpets and kitchen, once I have my new dining room vertical, there is nothing left over from the previous owners!

finally got a human on the phone at argos and got the missing parts.

booked waxing for next week. couldnt get thursday but ive got tuesday. bit early for waxing for a sat night out but it will have to do and im not planning on showing anyone my bikini area anyway but its nice to be "tidy" i think.

kids are back from school and nursery. i need to go sort the tatties ready to roast soon but for now im enjoying a sitdown while they play lego.

DH is home (leaving for Cardiff shortly). He opened the post he received earlier - and has a £300+ tax rebate :j:j It wasn't all junk mail after all Together with the money I have put by for my tax bill (won't be paying any this year!) we should be able to get the new blinds for the LR and get the summerhouse insulated & electrics done :T

Tidy the linen cupboard

Tuesday ~ Living room, hall and stairs
Level One

Wipe all the paintwork in the hall and stairs, including doors[/STRIKE]
Wipe the sofas, remove all cushions and vacuum underneath
Level Three
[STRIKE]Check smoke alarms.. HAVE YOU SORTED FIRE SERVICES/CHIMNEY SWEEPINGS BEFORE YOU NEED YOUR FIRES???
Clear and wipe the table/mantel/etc and put back only what should be there.[/STRIKE] No mantel so did window sills instead
Check oil/coal stores and prices for those who need them for their winter heating. No need
[STRIKE]Sort coats, shoes and bags into their proper places.. are any outgrown? need replacing?.. and get rid of summer ones no longer needed![/STRIKE]

Clear and wipe worksurfaces

Wipe fronts of appliances and units - not forgetting the kickboards
Descale iron/kettle/etc
[STRIKE]Wipe table and replace cloth if needed[/STRIKE]
Level Three
Clear and wipe tops of microwave/fridge/freezer
Check through the jars and cans and see what has been there forever and can be flung or needs to be used this week!!
Sort baking ingredients.. what needs binning what needs restocking and what can you use up this week? Christmas cakes will need making!!!
Extras

2. Sort through mugs and crockery.. fling the cracked and chipped bacteria breeding grounds!
3. wash windows
4. Thoroughly clean out 1 cupboard

Thursday ~ Childrens rooms, spare rooms or anywhere else

Change any bedding that hasn't been done recently
Evict some spiders!
Level Two
De-grot a hotspot!.. all of one.. the whole mound.. what did you find underneath?
HH-something.. study, exercise, challenge, garden, iron.. what did you do?
Empty and clean out a cupboard.. fling the stuff you don't need and put back neatly the stuff you do!
Level Three
Spend half an hour doing something for YOURSELF!.. hair, nails or simply a bath!.. What did you do?
straighten a chest of drawers
HHI and put it away....again!!!
Extras

1. Wash any windows you have left and can now no longer see out of! (that would be all of mine!)
2. Wash any curtains that need it and put up your winter weight ones
3. binbag dance
4. Wash the sticky paintwork in one room!

Decluttered another 1lb at SW yesterday which I was pleased about.

Have been to GGD3s 2nd birthday party today. I just dont know where the years are going.
