My Talkmobile 12 month contract will be up in November, and I wonder if they're likely to contact me with a new contract offer, or does that only happen with the larger providers?

You can phone them up for a new offer, or they may even phone you. I'm not sure if they do better deals than there website though it's always worth asking.
