vw touran problems(again)
after having 2 recent turbos fitted to the car a problem still exsists where the fan still stays on after turning off the exnition and the temp gauge veries from zero to normal but still drives normally 99% of the time.a new coolant temp sensor has been fitted but not cured anything.

It could simply be an airlock in the coolant system.0

Without sounding like Jeremy Clarkson, but how in all that's holy did someone suggest replacing the turbo, not once, but twice would make the fan work correctly...?!0 -

I know. But why have two turbos been fitted...?
Are you sure the fan you hear isn't the aux heater system underneath the car? They run for a while after the car has been turned off.0 -

The cooling fan will remain on after switching the engine off if the DPF is either in the regeneration process or just finished.0 -
