It could simply be an airlock in the coolant system.0

Without sounding like Jeremy Clarkson, but how in all that's holy did someone suggest replacing the turbo, not once, but twice would make the fan work correctly...?!0 -
iam not saying the fan problem is anything to do with the turbo problem it started 2 days after the turbo was fitted but could be connected,i dont know thats why iam asking here.harveybobbles wrote: »Without sounding like Jeremy Clarkson, but how in all that's holy did someone suggest replacing the turbo, not once, but twice would make the fan work correctly...?!0 -
I know. But why have two turbos been fitted...?
Are you sure the fan you hear isn't the aux heater system underneath the car? They run for a while after the car has been turned off.0 -

The cooling fan will remain on after switching the engine off if the DPF is either in the regeneration process or just finished.0 -
the 1st turbo was fitted 12000 miles ago and a new(recon) one 1 week ago,the turbo is working ok apart from 2 loses of power for a few minutes.the fan problem probably has nothing to do with this but seems a coincidence. a new coolant temp sensor has been tried but failed to stop the fan problem, the temp gauage is also going up and down like a yoyo altough not higher than its nornal reading.harveybobbles wrote: »I know.
