Short term internet

Hello,

I'm moving into a flat for 3-6 months, and will need internet. I don't want to sign up to a years contract, are there any other options for broadband? (other than mobile broadband).

Cheers,
James

Bethere do a 3 month contract for broadband but this is dependent on 1 it being available at your exchange and 2 having a landline, I think there landline is 12 month
Post Office do short term landline but the broadband is a minimum of 12 months I believe.you can use another ISP with PO landline
IDNet and ZEN or Resellers such as ADSL24,Vivaciti can supply both Broadband and/or phone on a monthly contract.

Check availability for your exchange here

I'm with plusnet, they do rolling monthly contracts. Can't recommend them enough.
  • Do you have a smart phone? Or maybe just buy an internet dongle? If you have an iphone and a macbook for instance, you can access the internet on your computer remotely by connecting it to the usb port of your mac.

There are monthly contracts too for broadband users... but you have to be with your own landlines connection. You may use your iphone or best quality mobile internet services..
