Thanks for all of the replies. I think I will fine slighty less shiney ones for the bathroom, and perhaps for the kitchen too.
I once surprised a mouse walking across a smooth floor. It hurtled off, and when it reached the end of the room, it tried to turn and failed, and you could see it losing control of its backside as it spun around. Highly amusing at the time.

Yep my cat is going to be really upset when we replace our cheap laminate kitchen floor with non-slippy tiles. He seems to enjoy doing backward rolls when he goes too fast and always puts his claws out so he has even less grip...0 -
My 10 year old Springer loves to come charging in from the garden and sliding to a stop at the other end of the passageway (which is about 20' long)Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0
