Hello,
Im going to be taking out a contract with talk talk broadband and landline bundle. Im doing it online through MSE-Uswitch so I can claim the £60 tesco voucher.
I onto the screen where it asks me for my bank details to set up the direct debit. It has not yet asked me for my MAC code which I have with me.
When will it ask or should it already of asked.?
Thanks

Some one may correct me on this but I believe that if your telephone exchange is one where Talktalk have an LLU setup (Local Loop Unbundled) then they don't need your MAC to do the broadband switch. In laymans terms they have their own equipment in the exchange (rather than using BT). You can check by going to https://www.samknows.com and entering your current phone number or postcode within the broadband availability section. If it's not an LLU exchange for TalkTalk then they will require your MAC in due course.0

hi evosy1978,
As Neil has correctly advised if there is LLU at the exchange then a MAC code isnt required as the line transfer order contains the necessary information for this.
If a MAC were to be required rest assured we would obtain this as necessary.
