If they have a phone Giff Gaff goody bag, you really can't go wrong. So easy to top up on line every month. My "adult" son is saving over £20 per month.if i had known then what i know now0

Also giffgaff to giffgaff calls are free so that would save them lot of minutes if they call you and you go to giffgaff as well.
Also if they go over the minutes and have credit rates are very cheap compared to the big 5.0 -
Giffgaff. If all their friends go on it too they will be able to call each other for free. You can set it up online so it is topped up automatically.0

Well I've ordered a sim from giffgaff, so far so good. BUT I've now realised that my son's phone is a Blackberry 8520 and he wants to be able to use Blackberry Services (BBS). I'm a total novice in this regard, it just seems like an unnecessary complication. I've looked on giffgaff and there's loads of stuff about why you cannot use BBS currently, suggestions for alternatives and also says they will be "launching" it soon. Can anyone shed any light on this e.g. if and when they do support BBS will it cost me, mean a different goodybag or will it "just work" ? Also when will it happen ? It's hard to find a definite statement anywhere tho' giffgaff site suggests end of year ... maybe ... but no other details about what a BB users would need to do.0
