I didn't say that and would prefer it if you didnt attempt to twist my words. i simply set out the scenario in the ideal world as seen by people on here to get discussion about the issue i was raising which was age.

I assumed that by ensuring the situation set out the perfectly issued ticket then it would not be atacked but it appears that within 1 hour i was wrong.

What do you mean by a "perfectly issued ticket", bearing in mind the true nature of contract law?
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Never mind the age issue, what about the disability issue?

How on Earth have PPCs not realised they are breaking the law yet? Money-grabbing blinds people I suppose...

Coupon nice of you to join in on another of my threads. Dont even start on the disability issue. My local Tesco express has 1 disabled bay out of 10 spaces. This disabled bay also forms part of the loading bay so when Tesco are having a delivery they are using the only disabled bay and must be in breach of TEA 2010? i have raised this with the store and area managed and had no joy

As far as I am aware a minor can enter into a contract for a necessary, so they can sign a contract for say a house but not for a credit agreement. As car parking isn't a necessary even if a 17 year old actually signed a contract for you I don't think it could be enforced!

Nice to see you although we don't agree on your line of business at least you are prepared to debate!

I thought you were getting out of PPC'ing and going into Airport parking?

@ppc_guy - it concerns me significantly that you seem to believe that the concept of "the perfect ticket", in the context of private parking companies, both exists and that it is capable of being summed up in a few sentences.

Forgive my cynicism but it seems more likely that someone from PPC Towers has just discovered that minors can only enter into contracts in certain circumstances and that such contracts may be voidable. They have now come up with the wizard wheeze of perhaps limiting access to 18 year-olds or above in the car parks they manage and maybe you're dipping you toe in the water?

Then one might suppose that it will be no red cars on Thursdays and - especially at Waitrose - no 4x4's at weekends. Where will the nonsense end?
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
