Shared Drains

Options
Hi, a neighbour (next but 1) is currently having problems with his drains. The drains at my property are fine. Yesterday, I received a letter from UK Drainage advising me that my neighbour is claiming on his insurance to have these drains repaired and as my poroperty shares the drain I should also claim on my insurance and they enclosed a form for me to complete. This form ask for all details of my insurance plus a claims reference number plus permission from me to allow my insurance to pay UK Drainage on completion of the work. I beleive that at least one other neighbour has also received the exact letter. Has anyone had any experience of this, the neighbour in question has not advised us of any problems although we have seen someone checking their drains. Is it right that i am going to lose my no claims over something that I do not have a problem with? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks
