  • Hello all. I had an apg and used it in tesco. They didnt mark or even write on receipt. Therefore in theory i could reuse again in tesco...what would you all do? I dont want to tke the mick!
just throw it away. you've used it:)
During the dtd days I could have used vouchers several times over. But each time they made to give it back I told them they had to score out the barcode and sign. ( I would never have used it again but hopefully the SA would do that from now on.

Definitely throw it away. Could jeopardise things for us all in the future if you used it again, not worth it.

it's when you find discarded till receipts in the street, in random places that are nowhere near the supermarket that the till receipt is for, in the supermarket, etc. You pick them up and take them away and hope for APG/The difference, uncollected points/discounts/conditional spends, etc.

there was a programme on children's tv many years ago, called The Wombles. Google it. They used to walk around wimbledon common, picking up people's discarded rubbish and recycling it. very popular program.
many thanks Aesop I remember the wombles very well:rotfl: but just hadnt made the connection - will be more vigilant now:D

was in Mr A this afternoon for plax but the shelves were empty so who's got it all:rotfl:

  • Well I've just compiled me a lovely shopping list, all I need now is for my DD to go to bed and I can head to Mr T's, haven't done any shopping all week  Plus I've not really been there since I was trouted, but looking forward to my coupon visit, with my email from Mr Clarke tucked in my pocket just in case ;):D

It's kinda sad that I'm looking forward to going to Mr T's on a Saturday night isnt it.... ;)

  • I've got trouted in Tesco today by the supervisor BIG TIME. Me and mum put our shopping together to get out quicker and she was waiting for us to pay. She was over like a shot telling me that i could only use 1 coupon per transaction (she took over the till at this point to put my payment through). I told her thats not what Philip clarke has said and she said phillip clarke who's he?? well I had to laugh cos if you dont know now you never will! Then I was being questioned why some of my coupons were in colour and some were in black and white!! So then I made her void the double items off to be put through on a seperate transaction (the couple behind me were getting irrate at this point huffing and puffing). Then she stated putting the coupons through and as I was watching her I saw her enter £40, so as she went to enter the last coupon through then she started spouting that it was only for baby formula, milk, fresh veg and so on I told her I had it all well over the £3.10 coupon but she didn't believe me so she had to go through the reciept to check. The she tried inputting it and it wouldn't go through she told me I couldnt use it as my balance was only 62p. Stupid me said err that cant be right i bought meat! (why didn't I keep my mouth shut?) so she checked and found that the error and started shouting and blamed the feller for doing it. So I paid and told him that I was going to make a complaint to head office then the feller started quoting the bible to me at the till!!!!! 25 minutes I was stood at the till so much for trying to hurry up eh!!!

  • Hi all. Good evening :)
    About those till problems:
Few days ago , in S , tills were very busy(even self checkout)I went straight to costumer service point(they have tills there as well) and I said :"Got coupons, don't want to block the tills, can you please chceck my coupons and handle my transaction?" Very polite , young SA said ok. he checked first coupon(dettol :)) ,was ok , didn't check the rest(sacla), just scaned all my goods. It was 5 minutes! :j
And that is what I'm going to do next week:I'm going to costumer service, there is always at list two SA's there and it's not as busy as tills, there is no strees for other costumers and confused shop assistants watching lines by theri tills getting hugeeeeee. I want to use campbell free soup vouchers- hope there will be no issue with that.

And btw philadelphia at S is for 0,99 and 1,49 so you can use your 1 pound and 50 p moc's :)
