Was this price drop thing a flyer or an A4 size booklet? Had the A4 booklets in mine and that doesn't have £1 wys £5 on frozen in it?? It does have £1 off yog wys £3 and £1 off fruit wys £5:o Perhaps it's a regional thing??

Hi I nearly over looked it myself, it looks like it is a coupon for Ben and jerry ice cream but really its any frozen food. Hope that helps.

Thanks for posting the Goodfella's coupon, good find. Am I right in thinking that the cashier will need to input the price with this one, will it not scan?

Don't you just love it when a coupon scans, I hate it when the cashier doesn't know what to do with it when it doesn't scan. :D

Sometimes if they type in the barcode it goes through.

I have lost count of the times some jobsworth cashier has held me and the queue up reading my coupons inside out and back to front, and then keeping me and everyone else waiting until a supervisor has been called to also read each and every word of the t&c's again.
Being treated with contempt and looked at like a criminal all for trying to use coupons at Tesco.

I count myself lucky the odd time I do manage to breeze through checkout without delay. Obviously tescos the commercial organisation has forgotten to inform the cashiers that it is in their own commercial interest to accept coupons without delay. I only wish it were true what you were saying as it would make things a lot easier and less stressful.

If you choose a busy time they will be more worried about the Q building up at the till.;)

Yes its a coupon ending in 000x so they will
    if it is of help
i have found if it helps to tell them at mr t that it will ask for the price when then scan it before handing over

you can then advise of price or if they feel the need check themselves

seem to help then pressing the wrong button. also as ss till will ask for supervisor and you can then show them item and advise as above.

not as simple as the others but if you are buying the item "should " not be an issue

about time we had another good freebee,:)

  • My Mr s is only accepting one type of coupon per transaction ie only 1 fabreeze coupon even though I purchased 2. so i went to CS and got a refund for one a then bought it again and used my second coupon.
