Tescos policy is to accept coupons whenever the relevant product is purchased so long as the coupon is in date. FULL STOP.
they are NOT intereted in any other small print t+c on the coupon and till staff are NOT expected to waste time and hold up a queue reading them.
The ONLY limitation on quantity is the stores bulk-buying policy.
Hopefully, this will clear up misunderstandings by certain posters on this forum.
The above is obvious if you think about it - Tescos are a commercial organisation and they operate in their own commercial best interest.
I have lost count of the times some jobsworth cashier has held me and the queue up reading my coupons inside out and back to front, and then keeping me and everyone else waiting until a supervisor has been called to also read each and every word of the t&c's again.
Being treated with contempt and looked at like a criminal all for trying to use coupons at Tesco.
I count myself lucky the odd time I do manage to breeze through checkout without delay. Obviously tescos the commercial organisation has forgotten to inform the cashiers that it is in their own commercial interest to accept coupons without delay. I only wish it were true what you were saying as it would make things a lot easier and less stressful.0
