    Do it, do it! :D
  • My Morrison's only ever got the one delivery of this and I've been "buying" up the dregs over the last few days (seems to only go down by 5 or 6 between my visits, so I don't feel I am depriving anyone). Not seen a chili or mozzarella one for about a week!
I've got plenty for me and for DS to take back to uni so will keep the coupons I've printed out for when any sacla goes on offer in another supermarket, which will probably be soon, as these kind of offers seem to do the rounds.

I've only been using coupons for the last few weeks but already have a stockpile of cereal, Ocean Spray and Soup (with lots of kids it won't get wasted!).

I tend to keep to no more than 10-12 coupons at a time and print in colour where possible. I also tend to go for the younger or happier looking SAs and try and make conversation before presenting the coupons. So far I have had no problems, bar one grumpy older SA in Tesco who had the only free lane - never again!

However, last night I bought 10 sauces in Morrisons, with some other shopping, and handed over my 10 coupons to the SA. Wanting to be efficient, he called over the supervisor to ask if he could put through all 10 together rather than 10 seperate coupons.

The supervisor first asked him if I'd had 10 jars, then looked at the screen to double check, then looked in my basket to make sure. She then claimed that I had bought the wrong sauce, so I pointed out that it said ANY sauce. Then she tried to claim that the spelling on the voucher was different to the jars (Sacia/Sacla) which I also disproved.

Not wanting to be beaten, she finally declared that as the sauce was 99p and the voucher was for £1 each, I could only use 9 vouchers as otherwise I would be claiming more than the products were costing me. Her argument was that the manufacturer wouldn't refund them the £1 per voucher as I had only paid 99p a jar.

I tried to politely discuss the flaws in her argument with humour and even offered to pay them the 10p back but that "wasn't possible''.

I have no problem whatsoever in paying 99p for 10 jars of sauce, but I wish they would think through their objections in advance rather than just 'making stuff up' :)

    That's just rubbish!!

I've had this arguement too, but in my case the till guy just put through a "blank" grocery item for 3p (I bought 3 sauces), so I got them free. I was a bit miffed at the time and pointed out that Morrisons would be making an extra 2p from each jar (1p from the £1 Sacla would reimburse them and my 1p). I just got a shrug.

I find Morrisons customer services very rude, un-helpful and un-able to discuss any logical argument when using coupons. I was using these when they tried every trick in the book as not to let me redeem them, I ended up complaining to h/o as the manager literally accused me of being a fraud in a shop full customers. The h/o never addressed any my points and rambled on about the coupon being mis-treated, although in the first line of the letter they admitted i operated within the terms and conditions....
