Most review systems tend to run for 6 weeks and this magazine came out late December so its probably finished now0

Thanks
My neighbour ordered it on 16/01/07. She then received a call 10 days later infoming her that the order was cancelled because of non-availability of some components. Pure poppycock because all the components (or equivalent alternatives) were available on that day - see this. I've made a formal complaint, as well as posted one on the Computer-Shopper website below the review - click here, then on 'Read comments' at the bottom.
You may be interested in this Acer L100 for just under £400 from Tesco (courtesy of dudleyboy). Probably not a good idea if you want to upgrade to a better graphics card though - if you do, you'll have to buy a bigger case as well. G
P.S. I'd originally posted the Aria offer in this thread on 11/01/07 - may be my neighbour shouldn't have waited either!0 -
The TFT that won the review was the Xerox, in the items you have specced a Yuraku which is a far cheaper TFT.
I'm pretty sure most review systems must be 100% identical spec or they can't sell it as advertised?0 -

GoofyGAT wrote:Yeah, I thought it wouldn't be anything special as it was bundled with a system & they hadn't specified it on the website review. Was the Xerox TFT mentioned in the C-S AXL Fusion mag review then?
You're most probably right, but a little commonsense flexibility/goodwill (especially in the customer's favour) wouldn't go down too badly, would it? G
Yes in the magazine it reviewed it quite well.0 -
