this is customer service address from asda website
could this be the one
Customer Service, ASDA House,
Southbank, Great Wilson Street, Leeds LS11 5AD
QUOTE=mickey.p;50973159]I am chasing up a letter of complaint I sent to them 10 weeks ago and I can't remember which address I used!
I want to ensure this one goes to the correct one - I checked page 1 of the coupon thread but Asda isn't listed - or am I being dim???[/QUOTE]0 -
OK, so I'm sorting out all my complaints as I just had a very frustrating trip to Tesco and it's given me all the ammunition I need!
From all this couponing my cupboards are bulging but I spotted a few offers on that I had coupons for and I also had the £5.00 off WYS £40.00 so I thought I'd combine the regular milk, bread etc with stuff I could stockpile that was on offer and that I had coupons for and get it to the £40.00 mark for the WYS coupon.
Well I'm fuming as NOTING was available!
I wanted to buy that was not available:
Things I had Coupons For- Huggies B1G2F for £2.59 - I had 2 x £1.00 Coupons
- Fora Light is half price at 85p and I had 6 50p Coupons so I was going to buy 6 (due to run out soon!)
- Body Form that was on offer for 77p - I had 2 x 75p Coupons
- Cathedrel Cheese on offer for £1.99 - I had £1.00 Coupon that someone else gave me
- Quavers - for £2.00 (big pack)
- Hagan Daaz - Half Price £2.22
- Walkers Large pack of Crinkle Crunch - 2 for £2.00
- Hollands Pies - 50p each
I am fuming as I ended up buying stuff that was on offer in double amounts to get it to the £40.00 mark - I will use it as I bought stuff that it always needed like cereal and frozen items!
I tried to complain but they were all so laid back about it!!! Grrrrr :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -

Cheers MT, It probably is as it's the place I would have looked but I just want to see if anyone has another given that they haven't responded!
May send it recoded delivery!0 -

sorry no that would be seen as photocoping which isn't allowed
needs to be print from original
if you still have the original pdf link saved to your pc then you can still print coupons up until the expiry date
Sorry but this doesn't make sense.
If Heinz put up a PDF MOC on their website then THAT IS THE ORIGINAL
"the original pdf link" IS JUST the URL to the coupon AT Heinz.com - what makes up the entire Post#2 of this thread.
If you PRINT this PDF then you have a PAPER COPY of it. (of the original)
If you print 10 of them then you have TEN COPIES.
If you DOWNLOAD/SAVE this PDF on your own PC and call it BEANSCOUPON.pdf then YOU HAVE A COPY of it on your PC - NOT the original.
If you then print it from your hard drive you are then making a Printed COPY of YOUR COPY - NOT a copy of the original.
IF Heinz REMOVE the ORIGINAL from their website TODAY (say 3 months before it expires) HOW can you print one TOMORROW ?
Remember the one on your hard drive IS A COPY.
Just like the HARD COPY that you made when you printed one - whether directly from Heinz.com/Beanz.pdf OR your own disc drive.
IF (that's IF) it is OK to print from a SAVED IMAGE file (basically a .pdf), THAT'S COPYING (not the original) a COPY to make a PAPER version.
If you do it 10 times you'll have 10 of them.
If you do it ONCE but set the COPY COUNT to 10 - you'll also have 10
If you ONLY do it ONCE directly from Heinz.com/Beanz.pdf TO A SHEET OF PAPER ... that's NO DIFFERENCE to saving the ORIGINAL to your hard drive. You made a paper copy NOT an image file copy.
IF you NOW want 10 of them, you SCAN (your saved copy) & PRINT another 9 - SAME RESULT
NO difference.
HOWEVER, trying to do the same (SCAN & PRINT - ie COPY) from a coupon that's handed out in a supermarket, dropped through your letter box, printed in a magazine or newspaper etc. IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MATTER !!!

Seems like the whole tumble tots coupon book has been pulled probably due to misuse. Now I'm a bit worried about using those coupons from there I have saved even though the expiry isn't yet, perhaps tumble tots said to valassis that they are not valid so do not honour them any more?
Scanning coupons even PDF ones is making a new copy that isn't authorised, if its a PDF coupon and you save 'a copy' to your computer you're just saving the original version of the PDF file to your computer, it looks and to all intents and purposes is the same file the company put up. If you re-scan even the best scanner in the world will not copy it back into your computer identically to the original put up, even if its subtle things like the colours being slightly off, a few pixels being in the wrong place, companies can and do pick up on this and may not put out any PDF coupons in the future. My view is if you didn't save a PDF to your computer in the exact state that the company put it there, and it gets pulled then thats a shame but not worth risking getting MSE into trouble or having genuine coupon users penalised by copying it in a way that the companies don't like, even if it doesn't seem logical xx0 -
Is your Mr T best friends with my local Mr S?
It seems they hardly ever have stuff you have coupons for, if they do that particular item it will be in a size/flavour/packaging the coupon doesn't say it can be used for. The other week I had printed out some of the gu coupons and Mr S did have gu, but only two different types of chocolate puddings that were virtually identical! It is a smaller branch of Mr S but local waitrose is around the same size, if not smaller yet they stock absolutely everything. I also see the SAs and manager in Waitrose doing the rounds making sure nothing is out of stock or falling short and they get quite panic stricken if it is. If waitrose can be well stocked with a good variety of products I don't see why Mr S falls so short. Also if something runs out in local Mr S it isn't restocked for another month sometimes and they really don't care! If it wasn't that many of the SSM coupons and some others are strictly tesco or sainsbury only I wouldn't bother
OK, so I'm sorting out all my complaints as I just had a very frustrating trip to Tesco and it's given me all the ammunition I need!

You're NOT SAVING THE ORIGINAL to your PC - you're making a COPY of it.
There can only be ONE ORIGINAL - that's at the company that put it up in the first place.
IF the company makes a change to the coupon on their website - changes the T&Cs, redemption locations, expiry date - the one on your PC doesn't change does it ? So if they change the ORIGINAL what do you have saved on your PC ? AN OUT OF DATE COPY !
As for the rest of the statement 99.99999% irrelevant
Your "exact state" and "pixels, colours etc." is "meaningless"
I can print the same pdf from ....
a desktop, a netbook and 2 laptops ...
running Windows NT, Win98, WinXP and Windows7 ...
directly from Adobe or ANOTHER PDF handling application ....
or directly from a browser like IE or CHROME etc. etc. ...
or indirectly by other methods ...
using a colour laser printer, a monochrome laser, a deskjet, a photo-printer ...
via several print handlers (Windows, browser, application) ...
many of which have individual document to printer colour translation interpretation settings ... (many of which I've never changed since installation)
which means I can print an ORIGINAL pdf DIRECT FROM A COMPANY's webpage in dozens and dozens of different ways....
... I guess I quite regularly use 8 or 10 0f them .....
and ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THEM IS DIFFERENT TO EACH OTHER
Unless the company provides ABSOLUTE INSTRUCTIONS of PC setup & configurations, document handling applications to be used (AND HOW) together with a list of COMPATIBLE PRINTERS and the specific settings of all characteristics ....
.. then YOUR printed PDF coupon will almost be GUARANTEED to look slightly different to mine ...
... even if we use exactly the same everything, hardware, software, settings, right down to the same printer but you've got expensive original HP ink/toner cartridges and mine are cheap compatibles.

I think everything quoia says makes sense. I agree that really if a company takes away a coupon it is because they don't want it to be used anymore even thought it may still be valid. We have always saved pdf's and printed when the links have gone, but that isn't to say it is ok.
I am not going to be a hypocrite though and will admit to using the dettol and any other pdf's I have when the links have gone and the company obviously don't want to issue anymore coupons. If they wanted to limit the no of coupons they issue then they can use a company like couponnet which limits us, but obv a pdf is cheaper for them.
Quoia, I have never been able to find a decent supplier of compatible/refilled HP toners where toner doesn't leak out, so I buy the expensive originals, which last for a long time now their is hardly any coupons around;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

If you have a cond spend coupon and things you want are not in stock to bring the amount up to the £40 spend then buy something to take back. I find clothes or printer ink is ideal as it is sooooooo easy to get the wrong ink or clothes that don't fit;)Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
