the problem we have is knowing what is general coupon chat and what is allowable. I know this is not of your making at all and appreciate all the carry on you have had but I think a lot of folks will still agonise over what is acceptable and what is not. I don't think I've ever seen a thread like it, with so much being moved, deleted.
Even if us oldies get the hang of it, newbies won't and will be really put off by the moderation( and it does appear to be moderated).
Couponwoman or Idlesaver said in an early post( not sure if this thread or the 2 others )that it needs to work for you MT and so I hope you get it to where things are ok again and you don't need to look through 2 or 3 threads for coupon news. Good luck- you really have a tough job right now.

can anyone suggest the best place to use the rustlers coupon - its bogof so im assuming the tesco offer is the best? or am i missing something

I believe some are saying morrisons has a better offer on at the moment, if you have one near you.

Mr S is 2 for £2.50 or £2.00 when bought individually - so they credit £2.00 off when you use the coupon which means you are only paying 50p for 2 packs.

Tesco are £1.00 each and you get 1 free obviously so you end up paying £1.00 for 2!

Ok I am very confused now as I thought making a posting of you shopping list were not allowed on the printables thread.

Yesterday I went into Morrisons and found Campbells on offer and I make a list of prices and the expiry date and I also found kingsmill 50/50 bread for a good price.

This info I wrote up and I also included on the message I posted that I'd found eggs with a MOC sticker and also some of the other offers I'd found. (some people have a distance to get to Morrisons, too far for bread and soup but worth the trip if you can get a lot of other bargains as well)

Ie. a shopping list and these were speciifcally banned from the printables thread

Obviously I am not going to write about Morrisons and Campbells and Kingsmill in a message on one thread for printables and then write a second message for the chat thread with the whole of my Morrisons shopping list bargains.

I can see the point of having a seperate chat thread. it works fairly well with the thread for free cinema tickets but having said that, at any one time there are only maybe 3 or 4 previews so its fairly easy thread to follow

problem for me is I scan read loads of posts , if I think its all chat then it gets moved, some posts may have 90% chatter and I miss the coupon bit

I leave any items you buy with MOC on , any items where you have spotted it cheaper in a particular shop

if you were listing a whole shopping list where only one item is cheaper then it may get moved if I miss it (I really don't see the point of listing every item you have just bought ?? that is duplication of the main shopping list or chat ??)

MT does the shopping list at the start of the thread with a breakdown of the prices for each store

I would suggest that the highlight in Blue should apply for new coupons still and another colour for new cheaper prices (GREEN ??) as it makes those posts stick out
