    hi SD
i've taken a look through currently available coupon, unfortunately pdf's saved of otherwise are very few these days.

1st suggestion if your generally trying to save money and can get to supermarket easy or can freeze stuff is to go instore when they are doing 2nd or 3rd reductions on fresh bakery and cold goods.

or if farmfoods nearby there are conditional spend coupons on coupon thread.

    right coupon bit
tesco mag this month has £1 off davidstow cheese or philadelphia coupon on thread
crisps: i read sainsburys are selling off some cheap OR asda mag has a golden wonder coupon and tesco mag has hoops & crosses coupon both mags on coupon thread.

if not already printed there are the odd few one off print coupons that may also be of use.

Please does anyone have any tips or various vouchers saved on pdf files available to print for every day groceries for a children's birthday party??

    Cheese
    Bread
    Ham
    Crisps
    Party snacks
All other items will be much appreciated
  • Hi, I'm new to the site but felt I had to put this to you guys for help.

I went to my local Sainsburys in Manchester last week to do my weekly shop. When at the checkout, after all my shopping had been scanned, I asked the woman at the checkout to use my vouchers that I've printed off at home. She said that this store no longer accepts vouchers printed off at home as they've had too many fraudulent vouchers and lost £20,000+ last month. I was so embarrassed, I felt like I'd done something wrong. She apologised and said she could tell mine were genuine, but still couldn't accept them.

Has anyone else encountered this? Can they really do this when most of the vouchers I had were from codes found on the products bought in that store? (ie the Dr Oetker Pizza's had codes to print your own coupons.)

My question, I will spend over £60 can I put everything on the belt then when it gets to £20 pay and give 1st voucher. Then next lot of shopping again stop at £20 and pay and give 2nd voucher then same again for 3rd voucher.

    Anyone else done this?

i've done it before but like MT said check restrictions
and pick a nice person to serve you lol

I have encounted this is the past couple of weeks with the pizza coupons and the safe coupons. It is because fraudulent use of printed coupons by a few have made it more difficult for genuine customers to use coupons.

Yes they can refuse coupons. They are under no obligation to accept them.

    Hi all

Through the door Morrisons leaflet with 3 £3 off every £20 spend vouchers, all must be used next Sunday I believe.

My question, I will spend over £60 can I put everything on the belt then when it gets to £20 pay and give 1st voucher. Then next lot of shopping again stop at £20 and pay and give 2nd voucher then same again for 3rd voucher.

I cannot see this won't work and easier than getting £20 worth paying, putting it in car then going back and doing it twice more.

    Anyone else done this?

Just to say I went to Morrison's today and had no trouble it worked out fine

Read on MSE or Hotuk that the coupon value is often part of the barcode.
Can see it on the Dr. O. Pizza, unlike with the FREE Sprite, the Supervisor tapped the price in.

Good information to know how the coupon redemption journey might pan out!

It's usually there for an amount off a product, eg £1 off a pizza. But for a free product it's not there as prices vary from store to store, so the value of the product has to be keyed in.

With the Dr. O coupon bundle, in 2014 you could make a profit then, as the FREE pizza is worth £2.79 and they could be sold cheaper!

Yes, the coupon says it's value is £2.79 and the Retailer section says Dr Oetker will reimburse the full value. I would expect the store till to just deduct £2.79 from your total bill with this coupon, so if the pizzas are on offer at the time then you could make a profit.

Quite often coupons for free product say "up to the value", so the store only gets back the amount paid for the product. In these cases they key in the price of the product and that price gets deducted from your total bill.
