Please can I ask has anyone had any problems with the Alpen bars MOCS?
They are on the boxs of bars which are £1.50 or 2 for £3 in the usual palces, Sada and sainsbobs etc.
Its not an actual coupon on the box but a code on the inside which you have to go onto the website and enter to get your coupon.
I am using old IE system and when I put the code in the row of boxs is not straight so it wont tecongnize my code. I then tried Safari and the same there.
So I gave up and tried sons brand new computer, very latest soft ware and the code was accepted but I could not get the coupon printer to load.
At that point I gave up and emailed Weetabix and eventually I got a reply and I am getting MOCs in the post, whenever they will arrive.
In the meantime I still have the little pile of cards with numbers on sat on my desk, now got 12. My other alternative Ive not tried yet is to plug the laptop into the printer but it says one coupon per day so it could be a very long job and annoying as well“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Hello dear friends,
I would just like to say "hello" to everyone and "thank you" for all the coupons so far. I am a new coupon addict (a few days old really) and this is the only forum I'm registered with.
Because I am so new I would really appreciate any advice on "how to...", I could really use it!
So far I went to Tesco and Asda and picked up a few of their January magazines, I also printed out most of the coupons on the first page of this thread and I am very excited. Now I just have to use them, so I have to wait for the best offer to make the most out of it.
My family's goal is to spend £200/mth in food, toiletries & co. We are a family of 4 (2 small kids). Do you think it is realistic? Or am I too excited?
Looking forward to... everything!:jBalance recognizes that many good things in life are good only in moderation. When an interest, affection, or endeavor becomes utterly consuming, it doesn't allow room for other kinds of goodness. Coupon in moderation!0 -
Hi Superscrimper. There's loads you can do to knock down the costs and keep within your target. One of the best suggestions I have been given is to do a fridge/ freezer/ storecupboard stock take and then menu plan your week or months meals from the list. Depending on what you have in those, you may get away with buying only fresh food such as milk, bread etc for a chunk of the week or month.
Also, only buy toiletries you absolutely need, and only then buy when on offer or with a coupon. Shop around for the best deals, and don't be afraid to try cheaper brands such as those stocked in L*dl/ A*di.
Loads more ideas and support on the forums. Good luck0 -
Hi Superscrimper
I always prepare a shopping list to avoid wandering round the stores and picking up things you really don't need because they catch your eye.
Be prepared to change your list if there is a good offer and if it is something non-perishable buy extra for your store cupboard. Think twice about buying B1G1F unless you will use both. When checking prices look at the unit/100gr price - you will be amazed how often it is cheaper to buy a smaller size evn when the store is pushing the superlarge one.
There are lots of other threads on here to which can give you advise on how to reduce your spend.
Have you signed up for Martins weekly e-mail? A must.
Good luck - you'll soon be amazed at what you can achieve.0 -
Have a look at old style thread superscrimper and if you tell them ehat you already have in the house, they will help yo meal plam. Good advice from Redigala about building a store cupboard.0

Superscrimper , the best tip I can give you is to make a least 10 dummy email accounts which you can use to get coupons ( eg Cravendale free milk) and to register on cash back sites such as Imutual http://www.imutual.co.uk/0

Hello superscrimper , welcome to the thread
Just a polite pointer that the "chat" side goes in a seperate thread to avoid cluttering up this thread , It's also a sticky thread at the top so easy to find
