hi HH
i see pk04 has been kind enough to point you in the right direction
just thought i add a couple of things
firstly ignore post dates on first pages of coupon thread, they are just from transfering thread. i update them daily
links in purple are currant coupons
if in grey they are expired but are left posted as they do come back on occassions
they are then re added in purple.happyhomebird wrote: »Hi
I have no idea if this is the correct place to post this question .. but .. am trying really hard to boost savings using printable coupons but it just seems too difficult for my brain to get a handle on. I watched the ultimate guide to penny pinching last night and a lady on there had stacks of coupons and I can't seem to get the system to work for me.
I have looked at thread 27 and can't work out where the uptodate coupons are - do I start at the beginning, but then some of those go back to 2008 - I have tried reading some of the stickies but still seem as confused!
It's now 12.39 and I have spent all morning mucking about and have nothing to show but a headache!
If some kind soul could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful:)
Right, off to pull myself together and take paracetamol!!!
x
p.s. this isn't a complaint about this website rather an admission of how easily confused I am!!!0 -
Hi HH and welcome. Just to add, that programme you watched on ultimate guide to pennypinching, was first on TV about a year and a half ago and the lady on it, comes on these boards. The coupons that she was using ie the Unilever ones etc aren't available anymore.
To be honest, there doesn't seem to be as many coupons available lately as to when I first started coming on here, but hopefully they will pick up again soon. I keep looking but never find anything new to add.0 -
Morrisons would not accept my cravendale coupon I won last week , the Till operator said they no longer accept ANY internet coupons. I rang head office and they said it was up to each stores manager0

Yes, I've had this experience of being refused coupon acceptance by Morrisons. I no longer shop at any of their stores because of this and would urge others to do likewise. when coupons are valid and genuine there should be no reason for stores to prevent customers using them. If a store decides to stop accepting coupons the we should stop shopping there.0 -

I've been trouted today at M for using Velvet coupons but stood my ground with a checkout supervisor. Asked to speak with manager who was happy to accept my coupons but put cap on selling me only 6 packs. Supervisor lady was very apologetic after that lol.0 -

Sympathies on that experience. I don't shop there anymore as I don't see why I should have to run the gauntlet of being publicly embarrassed when using a genuine and valid coupon to help me with my shopping bill. None of my family shop at Morrisons anymore.0 -
Morrisons are a nightmare for taking coupons, I try and avoid using coupons in there if I can help it.
Has anyone received their Cushelle coupons yet? Running low on the Nouvelle toilet roll when we were getting them for 50p a 4 pack. Might have to buy some soon if they don't hurry up.0 -
