They're counterfeits. They are usually scans and reprints of real coupons usually the type sent to customers following a complaint or compliment letter. Because of these fakes, which eBay seem to know are on their site but don't seem to care, it has made companies less likely to send out these coupons to genuine customers making a complaint so people are losing out that way. Also now supermarkets have started to become suspicious of all printable coupons because when they try and redeem these with the companies involved they are refused and they lose out financially, it has come to the point where there are far fewer coupons about altogether and far fewer stores are accepting them. These sharks have a lot to answer for :( xx
  • my pal was refusued re loaded voucher in asda last week - was told its illegal in scotland to give out free alchohol.......despite me getting from there store in previous days - she was also refused the ww one as they said it was a photocopy...wasnt was just printed in B&W
Technically speaking with the licensing laws uphere is is illegal to give out free alcohol but i've had no problem with the reloaded's so far. i have about 60 of them, and i'm not far from you lol

hear hear! i have been refused coupons for this reason and its dead embarrasing (even tho they have been printed off the internet) so now i just click the ..i have no printer link so they send it to me on the safe coupon paper and have had no problem soon. it does take a few days to arrive but better than being accused of trying to de-fraud them!
im tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!

I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it :D

  • Well this is it... the day finally came when i knew i would have to do it but it breaks my heart... im obviously a coupon addict. My husband took the last of our donated grocery, toiletries, and baby stuff off to the Urban Outreach programme at work.... dont get me wrong we have groaning shelves still so im more than happy to do it but..... its hard. Im just trying to think of the hungry people who will benefit..... not sure they will appreciate the Special K bars though ... 20 boxes of them LOL.

I put lots of pet things in too which ive couponed as im presuming that some homeless or down on their luck lady or chap may have a dog or cat.

I have about 60 of the lenor £1 off , febreeze £1 off, £1 Ariel etc mocs from the booklets given out in the Tesco mag in the summer.... I was hoping the Lenor would reduce in price so i get them for free for the charity but no luck... does anyone think it will reduce becauyse if so the moc's are of no use to me. ;)

If anyone is from Lancashire, Bolton way and you have any items in your cupboards which you dont mind letting go off to a good home with the urban outreach programme, we can collect or meet you at a carpark etc ... my hubby is collecting for the NHS Direct collection which donates to Storehouse Foodbank in Bolton. You can also donate direct to them. They may collect too because they do deliver the donations to elderly people..

    I've been Money Tipped!
Nice to see Cath, we've been donating to foodbanks and will be dropping off 3 or 4 boxes of stuff tomorrow.
Easily 50+ tins and including Heinz 5 Beanz (freebie) and Baxter's soup from Tesco (50p for 3). I wasn't going to use the Baxter's ones, but the charities needs are greater.
I have approx £2 per week budget to buy cheap cornflakes (Tesco 31p), tinned rice (Tesco 12p), tea-bags (Sainsbury's 27p), toffees (Tesco 20p) and other bits I get cheap or get with coupons like Herbal Essence etc.

I've had a load out of MSE from you Guys and luckily in a position to give something back.
Long may coupons continue and next year especially once my grocery challenge has ended, more coupons and till spits will be used to max food donation budget.

Having the budget youve mentioned sounds like a great idea.. ive never looked at the stuff the supermarkets sell as their own names ... i dont do the shopping normally and my hubby is a typical deli type who wants the best.. personally id buy the smart price stuff everytime as i bet there is no difference in taste. But if i give him a small budget to buy extra stuff for the foodbank too it would be a big help then.

I spoke with the charity again today and they say they rarely get donation of lady products so if anyone has anything like this they dont need, contact your local charity as im sure they would be grateful.

Ive had a fantastic 18 months thanks to the people on these threads posting the coupons.. im always trying to find them myself so i can contribute but have only ever found 3 to post.

I just hoping the lenor and ariel goes down in price before all my stash of moc go out of date !

    regards Cathxx
