I hadn't watched the USA extreme couponing until today! Flippin' ek! I thought I was bad! 5 hours at a checkout and 18 different transactions!? I agree, it's not possible here and I don't know if I would want it to be. I will however tell SAs to watch it if they comment on how many vouchers that I use
I was breaking out in a cold sweat when I did the shop in Tesco a few months ago where I got the total down from over £200 to just over £100 and filled two trolleys to the brim, it was far too stressful and took ages and that was only one transaction. Probably didn't help that there was an irate wheelchair bound Geordie woman behind me in the queue rolling her eyes and tutting and saying how ridiculous it all is. While it was lovely to save so much money I don't think I'll be doing such a collossal shop again for a while! Xx0 -
dasophster; I know it gets mentioned a lot on here that the attitude of other shoppers leaves much to be desired. Even though I probably only use one or two coupons each trip, I am often on the receiving end of a tutting customer in the queue behind me. I'm not a confrontational sort of person so I could never say anything back, but I wish I could come up with a withering remark to take them down a peg or two!Would LOVE to win:
A hamper - any sort! A goody bag - any sort! A UK mini-break. A year's supply of something foodie. Anything Sci-Fi related
2013 wins - Cutting Room book, Rock n Rose necklace, £50 M&S voucher, Greggs coffee, £70 voucher for a Onesie0 -
