With those Super Savvy Me vouchers, I have reached my print limit. Does anyone know if that's just for today or completely? I have only just discovered all those coupons I'd hate to be unable to use it any more.
Thanks!
*Never mind, I think it's because I tried to open 4 vouchers in 4 tabs but somehow it recognised them as all being the same*0 -

Tesco was fine accepting lots of coupons in one transaction, so was Morrisons, but Asda was still 10% of coupons only.
But when I usually shop at Sainsburys and for example I have a coupon for more money off than the item costs, they take the overage off the rest of my shopping.
Yesterday, I had a coupon for the same amount off that the item had cost. But sainsburys refused to accept it. I told them the coupon said it can be used in full payment under the T&C, they said that they can not have overage, some of our other coupons were more than what the product costed, so they have just took off what the item costed on them coupons, and gave me some of my other coupons back charging me full price for everything else.
I understand that Sainsburys do not give money back overage, but refusing the coupon because it is more money off than the item...have they changed their rules?
I checked their coupon policy online and it does say they accept all coupons. Does anyone know if it has changed?
This happened to me at my local sainsburys a day after they accepted my coupons. I contacted sainsburys via email to complain and after 3 weeks they gave me 1000 nectar points and said that the store was wrong all internet coupons can be used as long as I purchased that item. I kept the email and when I go in next with coupons I will show them it if I am refused.Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -

A quick question about self scan & coupons ...
Does anybody definately know the rules the machines use to decide when to ask for the annoying 'store assistance' when scanning coupons ?
I have noticed that it can ask for store assistance when the amount to pay total drops below a certain amount or when the number of coupons used exceeds a certain number but have not yet been able to work it out definitively
For example my last couple of tesco trips asked for store assistance on the third coupon - not sure yet if the total left to pay affects this e.g. if you totla was really low then would it ask on the first coupon ?
At sainsburies this evening I had 3 coupons scan OK then my total to pay went below £10 & store assitance was needed
Anybody more clued up than me ?0 -

I was told that coupons over 2,50 pounds need assistance- and that really works- up to 2,50 there is no problem but when I got coupon for 2,59 I needed assistance from sspersonDebt free by Christmas [STRIKE]2016[/STRIKE] 2017IVA - 26 months to goBank of Parents loan - £0/£8500 -
The tills in tesco work on a percentage but you only get to put max 2 mocs and they must be different ones thru b4 sa called so if you buying £20 and only using couple mocs you would be fine but if you trying to put thru 1 item with 1 moc it would call sa straight away
Sains it is a £2.50 limit this can be 2/3/4/5 mocs doesn't matter how many or if different or all the same but once you get to £2.51 in mocs you need sa.
In asda you can scan them all yourself but at the end sa has to agree them all.

thanks for the replies - the bit about sainsburys tallies as I had put thru £2 (50p + 50p + £1) before it had to be over-ridden
I also recall trying to use just a £10 love2shop voucher & that needed over-riding so I guess sainsburys must have either some rule for the amount of the coupon and/or the percentage as well
I prefer Asdas method as its less time/hassle - much easier just to check my bags for the correct products after I have scanned them all - I'm sure Ive needed assistance most/each time at Asda as well though ???0 -
just a note re As taking coupon....I had an 'experience' in As last week which I escalated to the CEO's office as was accused of alsorts using mocs. The chap that contacted me about it, said that so long as you've bought the product and the moc is in date and it scans (this could be a downfall for some!), then As should accept the mocs.
hthhoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0
