Earthboy - sorry maybe I should have been clearer - the payments show as coming out of my cleared funds and have done in the 2 yrs I have held my flexiaccount.
Do you mean the available funds, rather than the cleared funds? Debit card payments which are still in the process of being made will often reduce the available balance before they actually show on the account, but there isn't an entry on the online statement to show the date it will clear, and who the payment is going to, which is what the OP was talking about. I understand that the banks which treat Saturday as if it was Monday also show standing orders and direct debits postdated for the Monday, on the preceding Saturday. Nationwide certainly don't do this, and I would think it would confuse a lot of people if they did.
I have had a FlexAccount for 20 years, by the way, -before Nationwide ever introduced a debit card.0 -
It looks like there has been another change, the system has been updated and is now showing the payee name again, thank you Halifax !!0
