    Debt-free and Proud!
I've read them too, but experience of anything is individual, my line is ADSL2+ capable at 24MBPS and TT were saying it could only handle 11MBPS which is utter tosh, i have always got 1-2 MBPS under the full product speed I have taken out as a guide from all other ISP's over 10 years at same address - Orange quoted 1MB under their 20MB, BT 2MB under Infinity full speed of 40MB & TT 10/11MB on a 24MB capable line.

TT/CPW staff of mislead & lie like most users report from experience, then technical treated me like an idiot, it was retentions whom said no you are correct you can support upto 24MB & 40MB Fibre.

Why does it take the last line of a customer leaving to get the truth ?

Fibre upgrade for free which costs TT money in lost revenue ?? ALL because the CEO wont clamp down on lies and misleading staff that is inherited from the CPW.

My experience since with TT is great, a BT product resold is usually a better deal with TT & Orange whom I have been with both in last couple of years.

Both LLU products are problematic from www experiences. My personal is not, I educated myself in BB and held Orange accountable on lower speeds via a complaint to BT CeO office against BT Openreach as Orange were blaming BT, BT told me the truth IT WAS Orange limiting my speeds something Orange ALWAYS denied - I never had a Orange speed issue again for years, because I educated and resolved the issue myself with the correct legal avenue - consumers need to educate themselves more, that fact for 40 years we as a society have just started really says something !

Orange handed Orange BB to BT, they went from the bottom to the top - something Orange tried to do for some 5/6 year period, as Orange Home Broadband as a company had to make a profit to Orange UK, Unlimited Broadband at £5 was never going to allow that, Orange after much brand damage done the right thing as a company.

TT retentions on a individual basis with me done the right thing. But like Orange, TT need to do it company wide.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • i still get slow speeds from 5pm onwards. and i still get the odd "cannot connect to the internet at all" moment...at least ONCE A WEEK.

what's going on really? TT gives you faster fibre but unstable and slows down during peak hours.

    *sigh*
