We are really weird and don't like discussing our names with family and friends lol! We like to surprise them by saying the name when we announce the birth. That way they can't say oh I don't like that name as it's the baby's name already. Make sense?! lol I know we are strange

Where is everyone tonight??! I'm having a lovely foot soak. My friend makes lovely bath products from goats milk on her smallholding and I'm using a lavender bath sherbet from her range - it's lovely!

Hi peeps. OMG just got home from work, took me just over 2 hours:eek:.

On the subject of sharing names pre-baby, i dont think you are strange at for not doing so. We havent told ANYONE at all what our chosen names are, and we had the boys name sorted by the time i got PG, and the girls name sorted not long after! Way we see it, is if you tell people, they feel they have the ability to criticise the name or suggest alternatives, and if you ignore their thoughts, then they can get offended. Whereas, if the first they hear of it is when they are told the name in the birth announcement, its a bit late!!

Am feeling good karma today, Mum went off on her trip to barbados, and she sent me a text from the airport to say they had both been giving seats in business class, and she sounded chuffed, so i'm feeling good!

i am thinking that is a good idea i might not share the name either then no one can say they dont like it...

I will share with you guys though

so far we thinking of calling our daughter Charlie for a first name and Harrison for a middle name but i am not sure about using 2 names that could be boys... we need to have Harrison as baby is having my surname and his surname (Harrison) as a middle name

kandboysI love zack it's one of my favorites but ds1 is jack so we're not going to use it! We also like jake but again it's too close yo jack. Honestly this kid will be nameless lol

am on my phone and posting is a mare so sorry if I've missed anything. Have taken myself off to bed with abag of haribo coz I'm hurting quite a bit and getting lots of pressure down below. Hoping something might be starting as I've had a tiny bit of pink show but not getting too excited.

Hi ladies, just a quick question, does anyone have the link for the new parent thread? I can't seem to find it and really could do with getting on there and asking for a bit of support, struggling to cope with everything at the moment and am starting to worry a bit so could do with finding the thread asap. Hope all you mummy's nd mummy's to be are doing ok this evening, labour vibes going out to all who want them. x x

I dont recall seeing a new parents thread (not that that means there isnt one). Do you mean the parents thread? I've had a squizz and the chat there seems to be about all sorts of ages inc little uns!
