My parents don't pay anything.
I pay my tuition fees out of money left to me in my grandads will.
Rent and living expenses is paid out of me saving all the money from working during 6th form and uni holidays, and being a complete miser when it comes to spending. One thing...that sets pulses racing...that gets hearts pounding...for which there is no substitute...only YOU can provide...blood.
Only 5% of the eligible population give blood: do something amazing today, save a life, give blood0 -

Mine don't, I have a tuition loan from the SLC... But I know that a lot of my friends (whose parents earn much less than mine) have theirs paid for them, or at least get some kind of contribution towards them.
Just curious!
My parents pay my tuition fee, and have also allowed me to move back home with my little girl whilst i'm at uni to save on rent - really am very appreiciative and doubt i would have gone back to uni after spending 3 years working fulltime if they hadn't made the offer.0 -
they dont pay anything for me but i do get to stay at home rent free until i finish uni, however i buy all my own stuff / pay all my bills etc
i just dont ever have to worry about rent which is a BIIIIIG help
i still give mom what i can / when i can0 -
I didn't have to pay any fees at Uni was my parents were both retired. They gave me 2k a year and my nan did also. They didn't want me to leave Uni with thousands of debt as they didn't think that was a good start.
I am really grateful to them for helping me so much and I hope I can pay them back some way when I'm earning ok money etc.0
