Virgin media 10meg broadband problems
virginmediaarehopeless
iv been with virgin for about a year and have never had such a poor broadband service ever before!!
it is slow at the best of times and evenings it is almost non-existant.
after ringing there "helpdesk" evey few days i finally got the reason from one of there technical guys....
My area is suffering from overutilisaion at approx 130% !!!
i have been given excuse after excuse then lie after lie that repairs were expected to be complete on this date and that date but never were and if anything the service has got steadily worse and worse.
with most evenings being unable to even load a web page or recieve emails let alone play online games, poker, utube ect
trying to complain is almost a joke as the "helpdesk" can be rude, offensive and completly unhelpfull.
writing letters just gets you the standard "thank you for your letter one of our represenatives will contact you............." and that never happens!!!!
the worst thing is that they knew the area was oversubscribed before they sold my there contract and they knew that the service they were going to provide was magnitutes worse than the sales pitch and tv advertisments...
if you went to the cinema and the projector bulb got dimmer and dimmer until you couldnt see the film you would want your money back at least and would then never go to that cinema again.
but you try to get virgin to cancel the contract and its oh no sir you carnt do that if you want to leave we will charge you for the rest of your contract..............
hopeless hopeless hopeless hopeless hopeless virgin
do yourself a favor never sign up for a virgin product unless you enjoy banging you head against a brick wall

Phone through to Customer Services and choose the option for thinking of leaving. Explain what you have been told about over utilisation and you are not receiving the service you pay for, they should sort something out for you, refunds, disconnection etc.0
