Short of making a fraudulent claim, I doubt there is. Your best bet is to cancel the insurance under the 14 day cooling off period and buy a new phone and reinsure as you see fit.0

You DO still have the original retailer's receipt (this excludes eBay)? The fact remains that the loss took place before the policy came into force, and even if you lied, they would check with the network as to when you told them to suspend services, so any date-shifting would be discovered.0
